Develop Anti-epidemic Spirit and Forge Forward Against Headwind: Haisum Held Production and Operation Meeting

On the afternoon of September 24, Haisum held a production-operation meeting at its Shanghai headquarters to pass on the spirit of the September 15 Shanghai meeting of Poly Group, as well as the instructions and requirements of Sinolight Corporation and Haisum to complete the annual goals and tasks, and comprehensive summary and notification on production and operation achievements of each company of Haisum, in order to further unify ideology, clarify goals, strengthen responsibility, and firmly promote the confidence and determination of strategic planning, reform and development. Haisum's CPC Committee Secretary and Company Chairman Zhao Guoang attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Haisum's CPC Committee Deputy Secretary and Company President Chen Rongrong hosted the meeting and made a keynote speech. The operation team of Haisum, principals of subsidiaries, and financial administrators of the headquarters and subsidiaries participated in the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the departments and subsidiaries reported the production & operation situation by the end of September, the accomplishment of the annual tasks, and the enlightenment gained by taking part in the training of the group company on the 14th Five-Year Plan. Lin Lin, Secretary of the Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer of Haisum, and Zhou Yuan, Jin Shan, and Chen Zhiming, the vice presidents of Haisum, analyzed and commented on the production and operation, strategic positioning, progress of key projects, and development of advantageous and disadvantageous industries of the subsidiaries in charge. They also put forward requirements for the next step of development, as well as opinions and suggestions on the Company's 14th Five-Year strategic plan.

Chen Rongrong commented the accomplishment of production and operation situation in his keynote speech, and presented four requirements by combining the 14th Five-Year strategic plan: The first is to insist being problem-oriented and market-oriented; the second is to emphasize the deployment of human resources; the third is to identify appropriate business development path and model; and the fourth is to promote the management reform systematically. Chen Rongrong also expressed the thinking about promoting the industrial transformation and upgrading and building an efficient ecosystem of Haisum by combining the introspection brought by the epidemic risk: The first is to optimize the core process package and re-pick the original heart of foundation; the second is to accelerate the digital transformation; the third is business transformation; the fourth is to seek for new growth driver for development and realize cross-border integration; the fifth is to focus on the national political direction.

Zhao Guoang delivered an important speech named Develop Anti-epidemic Spirit and Forge Forward Against Headwind. The speech combined the spirit of the business forum of enterprises in Shanghai held by Poly Group named "Develop Anti-epidemic Spirit, Strive to Accomplish Tasks, and Make Process in 14th Five-Year Plan Period". It put forward three requirements on the reform and development of the next stage and sprint in the fourth quarter:

The first is to strengthen confidence to accomplish the annual targets. The technology shall be regarded as the foundation and communication as method to build confidence, change ideology, actively expand the domestic & overseas market, traditional & new industries, and ensure coordination by making use of the resources. The second is to focus on new targets, strengthen the foundation and improve the ability; keep the missions of central enterprises in mind, create more value, and never forget the social responsibilities; and strive to improve the management ability, scientific innovation ability, operation ability, risk control ability, and talent cultivation ability. The third is to develop new growth drivers and make planning collectively. It is necessary to follow the first-class enterprises to finish the upgrading of the management system and organizational structure, adjust and make clear the responsibility of the headquarters and subsidiaries, and scheme for realization of the 14th Five-Year Plan.

Zhao Guoang stressed that the production and operation are critical to the development of the Company. With the background of regular epidemic prevention and control, Haisum faces the most critical moment for reform and development. In the face of new challenges, we shall uphold the encourage and faith of "Idle boast the strong pass is a wall of iron, with firm strides we are crossing its summit" to actively seek changes, accurately recognize changes, respond scientifically, as well as raise the sense of responsibility. Keep idealized and ambitious with pioneering spirit to follow the pace of reform and development of the group, in order to achieve better results in all sectors of Haisum.

At the meeting, Lin Lin conducted the financial training by combining the financial knowledge that shall be mastered by personnel in charge, and Zhou Kaixiang, the General Manger of the Wuhan Company of Haisum organized technical training under the topic of the original aspiration and mission of the process engineers.
