To further fulfill social responsibilities and assist in the targeted poverty alleviation, Bian Junyi, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the Company and his delegation attended the "hand-in-hand" Tinglin Joint Conference 2019 for Regional Party Building in Jinshan District themed by "undertaking the mission without forgetting our intention and promoting development through regional linkage" on the afternoon of September 23.
At the conference, Bian Junyi signed an urban-rural pairing agreement with the General Party Branch of Tingxi Village, Tinglin Town, Jinshan District on behalf of the Party Committee of the Company. Ma Lan, Director of the Work Department of Party Committee of the Company delivered an exchange speech on "fulfilling the responsibilities of state-owned enterprise to enhance assistance in Party Building", having introduced the Company's history of development, industry distribution, major projects, projects undertaken in Shanghai, and fulfillment of social responsibilities etc. in respect of company profile, characteristics of Party Building, and partner assistance. After the conference, Bian Junyi and his delegation visited Tingxi Village and attended a symposium with heads of the village committee.
This three-year urban-rural pairing program themed by "pairing up hundreds of towns and villages to boost rural revitalization" was launched to follow out the work arrangement of the CPC Central Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Committee for rural revitalization strategy, and give play to the leading role of Party Building so as to promote the normalization and institutionalization of assistance based on pairing of urban and rural Party organizations. As a Shanghai-based central enterprise, the Company will actively fulfill the responsibility of state-owned enterprises to help alleviate poverty, and promote the progress and development of both sides through pairwise joint Party Building. The Company will enhance exchanges and communication with the General Party Branch of Tingxi Village, and work with the General Party Branch to build the platform, strengthen the linkage, and promote the service, thereby achieving the diversified participation and public welfare-oriented operation of regional Party Building and fully stimulating the harmonious co - construction of village and enterprise.
