Pulp making and alkali recovery engineering
For more than 50 years our company has completed pulp making engineering design of various kinds of unbleached pulp, semi- chemical pulp, high yield pulp and bleached chemical pulp using wood, hard wood, wheat straw, reed, bamboo, bagasse, hemp and kenaf, cotton fluff and Chinese alpine rush, etc. as the raw materials, as well as the engineering design projects of ground wood pulp, BCTMP and APMP. In 1964 our company built up one of the earliest domestically designed alkali recovery facility in Nanping Paper Mill. During the age of sixties and seventies our company designed in succession the alkali recovery facilities for Yueyang Paper Mill, Hanyang Paper Mill and Liujiang Paper Mill. This created a precedent in the alkli recovery technology from the non-wood pulp making in China. At the end of the 1970s our company developed the alkali recovery technology for wheat straw pulp and applied it in Minfeng Paper Mill and Huasheng Paper Mill, thus laying down a solid foundation of technology for treatment of black liquor from wheat straw pulp in China. In 2003 our company undertook the world biggest pulp making and alkali recovery projects, i.e. Hainan Jinhai Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. with the capacity of 1000,000 tons of bleached chemical pulp per year and Jiangxi Chenming Paper Co., Ltd. with the capacity of 170,000 tons of BTMP per year.
.Paper and paperboard engineering
In the fields of paper and paper board engineering design our company has successfully completed a series of projects such as newsprint paper, offset paper and offset book and magazine paper, coating paper, bag paper, writing paper, household paper(tissue paper),cigarette paper, China cypress paper, coated white paper board, coated kraft carton board, kraft liner board and corrugating base paper, etc. As one of its features, our company is not only adaptable to the extra large scaled pulp and paper making projects, but also full of rich experiences in the design of special paper and small scaled projects. In addition, our company has designed many foreign invested projects and accumulated rich experiences in cooperation with foreign clients and foreign equipment suppliers.
Special and converted paper
Engineering design of special paper projects is one of our company's distinguishing features. Since the foundation of the design institute, our company has completed many special paper engineering projects such as electrolytic capacitor paper, asbestos paper, banknote paper, insulation paper, car filter paper, NCR paper, colored photographic base paper, colored jet ink paper, dictionary paper, recording paper, electrocardiogram paper, battery separator paper, filter rod paper, tea bag paper, etc. Of which, the Gold Huasheng Paper Co., Ltd. (Suzhou Industrial Park) with the capacity of 100,000 tons of NCR paper per year is the biggest NCR paper processing enterprise in the world at present. At the end of the 1990s, in order to meet the demand of the market, our company undertook the converting projects such as electrostatic copying paper converting and corrugated carton board converting.
In the forepart of 1980s our company stepped out to design the first kraft liner carton board project (Shanghai Hongwen Paper Mill) in China by using developmentally the wastepaper from U.S.A. as the raw material. From then on it drew open the prelude of paper making using wastepaper as the raw material on a large scale. At present our company is able to design the production line of old newspaper (ONP) treatment with a 100% furnish and with a production capacity of 500 tons per day. The capacity of AOCC production line reaches 700-800 tons per day and is available to be used in the production of Class A kraft liner carton board. Our company is also capable in practice of designing the treatment line of office waste paper.
Planning and consulting of large scaled pulp and paper making enterprise
In the fields of consulting of large scaled pulp and paper making engineering our company has won outstanding achievements and has completed the preliminary feasibility study report and feasibility study report of the bleached chemical wood pulp project with the capacity of 600,000 tons per year, the poplar chemi-mechanical pulp project with the capacity of 300,000 tons per year, and the kenaf pulp project with the capacity of 100,000 tons per year, and the preliminary feasibility study report and feasibility study report of a series of the large scaled paper and paper board projects such as the paper making project with the capacity of 1,350,000 tons per year, the paper board project with the capacity of 1,000,000 tons per year and the high grade art coating paper project with the capacity of 450,000 tons per year. Some of the projects have been approved by the state and awarded by the related authorities of the state.
